About Us

Annamacharya Educational Trust under whose wings several colleges were formed, including AITS Hyderabad, was founded in the year 1997, by a group of highly educated and service-minded individuals.

The founders started the trust with the noble intention of providing professional, and higher education to the students coming from backward rural areas of Rayalaseema.

The motto of the trust is:

“VidhvanSarvatraPujyathe”. The word is part of a Sanskrit shloka and means “a scholar is respected all over the world.”

Annamacharya Educational Trust was registered in the year 1997 with Regd. No. 135/IV/97 with its headquarters in Hyderabad.

This Educational Trust, then established colleges at - Rajampet, Kadapa District, Piglipur, Ranga Reddy District, and Tirupati, Chittor District.

As further expansion, the Trust proposes to establish some more technical and non-technical Institutions in A.P.

At AITS, our goal is to improve the living standards of families living in rural areas, improving the industrial condition, and thus serving the society, by providing world-class quality education.

Sri. C. Gangi Reddy

Completing his Masters in Commerce and being selected in APPSC Group-II, Shri C. Gangi Reddy garu served as a Sub Registrar in the registration department of AP Government in his initial days. He, later became the District Registrar for Ranga Reddy district in the year 2005 and took voluntary retirement in the year 2009.

Gangi Reddy strongly believed in the statement that education brings obedience, and as one is growing-up, he/she must be more obedient. Most of the time, people believe in helping others by providing financial help. But he believes in moulding others in a manner that they can earn a decent living for themselves. This was the idea which paved the way for the establishment of many educational institutions. Though the idea was not limited to merely establishing them, but extended to building them up on the foundation of high standards, through effective implementation of rules and regulations.

The State Government of Andhra Pradesh conferred on him “RayalaseemaRatna” award in recognition of his commitment to uplift the rural region of Rayalaseema, by means of providing top-class education. C. Gangi Reddy also received the coveted Edupreneur Award 2013, in the award ceremony held in New Delhi, presided over by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Former Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development. Shri Reddy received the award for his outstanding contribution towards engineering education in the JNTU Anantapur region. He is the first person from Kadapa District to receive this honour.

Sri. C. Abhishek Reddy

C. Abhishek Reddy is the Treasurer of AITS. He specialized in International Marketing and Project from UK, has been working vigorously to uplift of the students in the region. Being an advisor for an MNC (Halifax Bank of Scotland) in London, he understands the world affairs. With this expertise, he has initiated to build a system in Annamacharya Group.

Shri. Abhishek Reddy is also the student coordinator, and has visited several countries: France, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, Germany, Belgium, US, to understand their educational culture, and took home with him the best learning from all these countries. He strives to implement them in Annamacharya Institutions, thus redefining the concept of education.

Adding to these, he is also an alumni of the London School of Economics and Political Science with specialization in Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership. His entrepreneurial mind-set is constantly shown in his attempt to establish robust relationships with corporate to enhance Industry- Academia interface.

He is passionate about executing technologies to enhance the performance at different levels. He is focused to cultivate a research ethos and discipline that nurtures students for personality development and knowledge enhancement. Not just limiting to this, Abhishek Reddy also encourages indoor and outdoor activities to enliven students’ education during their stay at the institute.

Dr. S. Nagabhushana Rao

Dr. S. Nagabhushana Rao, graduated from Institution of Engineers (I) in Civil Engineering, M.Tech (Structural Engineering) from JNTU Hyderabad and obtained Ph.D. from NIT Warangal in Transport Engineering.

He has 35 years of field experience in Construction and Maintenance of Civil Structure. Dr. Rao also worked as a Professor and Head Transport Engg., in JNTU, and as Director of Engineering staff college of India, Hyderabad.

He has so far published 50 papers in national and international journals and conferences.

Prof. N. Babu Rao

Prof. N. Babu Rao obtained his B.Tech degree with distinction in the year 1974, from JNTU, and M.Tech in the year 1978, from JNTU. He has to his credit, a rich industrial experience of 35 years.

Prof. Rao worked with various industries like HMT, APHEL, HIL, ALLWYN, VOLTAS, VIDEOCON and ELECTROLUX KELVINATOR Ltd etc. He has been on many business tours that include countries like Syria, Bangkok, Italy & US on business tours.

Dr.P.V.Krishna Murthy

Dr. Krishna Murthy has 154 Publications to his credit in international and national journals, and 21 publications in international and national conferences. He is the fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Chartered Engineer of Institution of Engineers (India), and life member of Combustion Institute for Indian Chapter.

Dr. Murthy is also the reviewer of many reputed journals like ASME, Elsevier etc. He has been guiding several PhD scholars. He has worked with many industries for two decades, and also has 17 years of teaching experience.

He has worked as a Principal/Director for the past 11 years in different Engineering colleges. He joined AITS in September 2016.

Dr. Krishna Murthy is an able administrator and a fabulous teacher. He has been awarded many awards for his teaching skills.
